About Me
Hi! I’m Paula, the creator of Aquaribe Jewelry. I am a German Chilean based in the Southern Caribbean of Costa Rica where I design and create each piece by hand in my jungle studio by the sea. I have always been in touch with my inner creator as I was born into a family of artists who encourage self-expression. After taking jewelry classes with an Argentinian goldsmith a few years ago, I immediately found a connection with this art form. I spent days in the workshop designing, experimenting, and conceptualizing pieces of jewelry for friends, which I then began selling as there was a growing interest in my work.

Seeing my adornments shimmering across a range of bodies and different styles gives me a deep sense of happiness and purpose. It is from this passion that I create artisanal pieces inspired by the vibrant culture and landscape I live in: turquoise stones that mimic the glittering waters of the Caribbean Sea and unique shells found on the stretch of beach I live across from.
I incorporate organic shapes, shells, pearls, and stones in my designs as I appreciate sacred geometry found in the natural world paired with the intricacy of metalwork that each piece is made with. Aquaribe Jewelry is handmade with love and thoughtfulness and no two pieces are exactly the same. A reminder that it is our individuality that makes us each so vibrant.
